Jennifer Anderson founded Lone Star birth in 2023 to help bring together like-minded birth professionals for the betterment of the community. It is her belief that by providing more comprehensive care, women and their families can have a more positive experience through pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period. Jennifer is a certified Birth & Postpartum doula as well as a childbirth and breastfeeding educator. She began supporting postpartum families long before having her own family but became certified after the birth of her first daughter, almost 14 years ago. Though she battled infertility, she was blessed to expand not only her family, but also her knowledge and experience through assisting hundreds of families through the process of becoming a parent. She now provides birth & postpartum doula service to families all over Houston, including those with multiples, high risk pregnancies and special situations such as surrogacy and adoption. Jennifer is currently in school to expand her knowledge and become a licensed midwife and hopes to open up a birth center in the future. Until then she will continue supporting families through the Lone Star Birth network.
